Also, the importance of Florida as a voting state and how Obama still managed to win Florida over even though most of the small counties in Florida voted McCain.
-Ban on Gay Marriage won with 62% approval.
-8 house seats are democratic two of which changed party from republican to democratic seat.
-According to exit polls 51% of males voted for Obama, compared to 47% for McCain and 52% of women voted for Obama as compared to 47% for McCain.
-2/3 of young voters voted for Obama, while 1/3 of them voted for McCain.
-voters over the age of 53 where the only group to have a majority of McCain voting.
-30-44 year olds were tied between the two candidates.
-52% of people polled decided to vote for McCain on election day while 55% of Obama voters decided a week before.
